Introduction
to the Journals
The publication of CROP RESEARCH (CR) was started in 1988 with two issues in a volume i.e. in the months of June and December. During 1992 and 1993, three issues of CR were published in a volume i.e. in the months of April, August and December. Thereafter, CR is published in two volumes in a year. In each volume, three issues are published jointly in the months of May and November. The current NAAS rating of CR is 3.4.
The publication of RESEARCH ON CROPS (ROC) journal was started in 2000 with one volume containing three issues in a year. However, keeping in view the demand of contributors and inflow of large number of suitable research papers for publication from various countries the Governing Body of GSARIC has decided to increase its’ frequency of publication. Therefore, since 2013 four issues of ROC are published in a volume i.e. in the months of March, June, September and December. The Thomson Reuters Impact Factor (formerly ISI) of ROC is 0.050 (originating in
2011 Journal Citation Reports : Science Edition - a Thomson Reuters Product). The
current NAAS (India) rating of ROC is 6.3.
